a Spontaneous 7 Day - Trip to Nepal:

  • Spare 7 days for Nepal. Spend the first 2 days in the Capital to witness what everyone calls the `City of Temples-the Kathmandu'.
On your first night, take a walk in the Thamel and Lazimpat streets, eat some great foods and meet some street folks.

  • 2nd Day: Visit all popular temples in the Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. Go by Mini Bus or Micro Bus (Toyota Hiace) they run to and from all popular tourist destinations in the Kathmandu. Or you might want to take a cab. Reserve a cab for the whole day. It should not cost you more than 800 to 900 Rs (i.e. about US$10 or less) for a full day taxi reservation for a full day ride  within the Kathmandu valley. Visit these places in order to minimize the transportation cost and to accomplish complete sight seeing in a day. (a) Visit the Bouddha Temple  then Pashupati. (b) Return to your hotel for a nice afternoon relaxation and food, then go to Bhaktapur and Patan. If you are not exhausted by then, take a walk in the busiest open supermarket in Nepal- the Ason. When buying don't forget to Bargain; that's the first trade topic here! Spend your quality evening time dinning out in any restaurants in the valley.

  • 3rd Day: Leave Kathmandu for Pokhara. If you like, take a public bus for 8 to 10 hours of scenic ride to Pokhara. Spend this day for a complete relaxation and shopping in Pokhara. If you reach early, you can have a fest of mountain views just before sunset.

  • 4th Day: Make a thorough sightseeing of Pokhara. Spend this night in Pokhara as well. Don't rush. Pokhara has lot to offer. Rise early in the morning to view coolest mountains and sunrise just in front of your nose! Warning!! The Himalayan views are so exclusive to you will want to stay for days in Pokhara!

  • 5th Day: Fly to Lumbini early in the morning and return to Kathmandu by evening flight. In Lumbini, visit the birth place of Lord Buddha, and other Buddha temples developed and maintained by foreign countries (such as China Buddha temple) These awesome temples add to the development and promotion of the Lumbini region. You should not miss seeing these great temples. In the evening at Kathmandu do the remaining sightseeing you might have missed on your 2nd day in Nepal.

  • 6th Day:On your sixth day spend the whole day for final round of sightseeing and more shopping. Have a Nepali dinner with your Nepali friend's family. You will never forget that moment. Need help in making friends in Nepal? Send an email, we can help.

  • 7th Day:On the seventh day, leave Nepal early. Take back home a wonderful memories to cherish for years to come.
