GIS Soceity of Nepal - Well, A bit late but it was worth it!
We know Nepal has bunches and bunches of organizations and many are as active as our legs in a Marathon!
Geographical Information System (GIS) is surely a great field to be in, specially for our Nepal which has such a diverse and unique geography and plus GIS pays as well as IT across the globe. No wonder, students are going for GIS thesedays.
Here is a unique and commendable Nepali site that is our site of the month. Just visit it and make sure to knock on their doors and
ask for more, well, how about some GIS Shape Files, and Databases to start with? Not to mention how difficult
it is to get such files online? Specially for Nepal! Hope you guys share your knowledge and information to multiply your power.

Friends of Nature - Nepal - We've been pretty lame for the last two months, kind of doing research as to how this site should move forward. But every now and then there comes a site that makes you wanna stop and work harder. So here you go, our site of the month. For those who love fancy designs, kindly move along. But inspiriation and content is what drives you to the web, this is a good site of a none profit organizatation. Join this group and be participative in social works. Long live the idea of serving for the community and expect nothing in return! Nepal needs more people to head into the deep jungles and hidden valleys where lies most of its problems. It's always something new to and exciting in our Nepali web where sites are born not only to entertain us through "TEXTS" but through "AUDIO" and here is one. Enjoy this fine site which offers some music to play and download. You can open the radio and let it play while you might be browsing other web sites. A site you should bookmark and use it often.
